As a girl scout leader I have attended a variety of training for leadership, first aid, outdoor training, and volunteered for many events, other than as the leader of my troop of 8 girls. In the past, I had as many as 11-12 girls, losing some to teenage years and receiving new girls.
We are in the process of obtaining the necessary hours and credits for the Girl Scout silver award, by growing over 400 trees we planted from seedlings in the Fairbanks area, a two to three year project. We intend to plant them in various public places in the summer of 2002.

2001: Fall Age Group Coordinator: I help find coaches for various teams and coordinate the coaches. I began this in Summer of 2001 and it is more organized this Fall.
1996-2000: I was soccer mom, which meant I coordinated the treats and collection of money for gifts to the coaches and for the extra tournaments and organized the thank you party for the coaches.
